HARRIET – The president’s chief of staff
JEAN – The president’s press secretary
STEPHANIE – The president’s secretary
DUSTY – The president’s dalliance
BERNADETTE – The president’s sister
CHRIS – A journalist
MARGARET – The president’s wife. The First Lady

In the playwright’s words, “Actors can be cis or trans. Age is flexible. Beauty is subjective. So long as they’re fast, fierce, and f***ing hilarious.”

Women of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community are strongly encouraged to audition.

A superb command of English is crucial, and the ability to do a convincing American accent (any region) is also required for most roles.

PLEASE NOTE: The script contains profanity and explicit sexual language – all in the spirit of comedy. Anyone auditioning will need to be comfortable with the language. Adults only at auditions, please.
