When the curtain falls on Mozart’s ‘Marriage of Figaro’ everything looks set for a happy ending. Horvath’s bittersweet continuation of the story takes a different turn when revolution forces Figaro, Susanne and the Almavivas to flee for their lives.

What follows is part comedy, part drama, and deals with, among other things, themes of immigration, racism, adultery, and hairdressing.

Directed by Diana Cardona, it is performed mainly in English with some scenes in French or German (with surtitles).
