The Production: We are seeking an ensemble of 9 performers for a shortened, high-intensity production of Romeo & Juliet coming in May 2027. Set in the midst of a gothic atmosphere, this version explores the intersection of queerness and the spectres of societal hate. We are particularly looking for actors from the LGBTQIA+ community (and allies) who are comfortable with physical theater, stylised movement, and deep emotional performance.
Commitment to safety: This production includes sensitive themes of homophobia and stylised violence. We are working with an Intimacy Coordinator to ensure all performers are supported in a professional, consent-based environment.
