ATC: How I Learned to Drive Auditions (Sep 2025)

This landmark work of contemporary American theater will give actors the opportunity to showcase their versatility in both dramatic and comedic moments, as well as their ability to navigate shifting time periods and perspectives.

The ATC will be holding auditions in September for its 2026 Studio production of How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel (the author of The Baltimore Waltz). This Pulitzer Prize–winning play blends humor and heart to explore the complexities of family, sexuality, and survival. We are looking for actors eager to take on the challenge of this rich, layered ensemble piece and bring its difficult themes to life with honesty and nuance.
