JEAN – <\/strong>The president’s press secretary
STEPHANIE – <\/strong>The president’s secretary
DUSTY – <\/strong>The president’s dalliance
BERNADETTE – <\/strong>The president’s sister
CHRIS – <\/strong>A journalist
MARGARET – <\/strong>The president’s wife. The First Lady<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the playwright’s words, “Actors can be cis or trans. Age is flexible. Beauty is subjective. So long as they’re fast, fierce, and f***ing hilarious.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community are strongly encouraged to audition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A superb command of English is crucial, and the ability to do a convincing American accent (any region) is also required for most roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PLEASE NOTE: The script contains profanity and explicit sexual language – all in the spirit of comedy. Anyone auditioning will need to be comfortable with the language. Adults only at auditions, please.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
