Director: Hugh Dow<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The play is a witty, full length, no interval, farce noir which toys with identity, faux woke-ism, shallow national romanticism, and artistic pretentiousness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for three characters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jay Conway &#8211; American actor and Oscar winner. Very up himself, precious, and hopelessly ignorant about the complexities of Ireland<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leigh Carver &#8211; British or Irish director who has nabbed a big fish in Jay and must watch his plans to put him on in the London stage unravel before his eyes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ruth Davenport &#8211; Ulster Protestant playwright.
