When the curtain falls on Mozart’s ‘Marriage of Figaro’ everything looks set for a happy ending. Horvath’s bittersweet continuation of the story takes a different turn when revolution forces Figaro, Susanne and the Almavivas to flee for their lives.<\/p>\n

What follows is part comedy, part drama, and deals with, among other things, themes of immigration, racism, adultery, and hairdressing.<\/p>\n

Directed by Diana Cardona<\/strong>, it is performed mainly in English with some scenes in French or German (with surtitles).<\/p>\n
