In French.<\/p>\n<p>Musical director Elizabeth Flynn, stage director Anna Holm\u00e9n.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for members of a <strong>chorus of 8-12 singers<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sopranos<\/li>\n<li>Altos<\/li>\n<li>Tenors<\/li>\n<li>Basses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are also looking for the following trained <strong>soloists<\/strong> (with a reasonable French accent &#8211; soloists will also have speaking roles):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Choufleuri &#8211; middle aged plus &#8211; high baritone<\/li>\n<li>Ernestine, his daughter &#8211; age up to 40, to play a role of early 20s &#8211; soprano<\/li>\n<li>Babylas, Ernestine\u2019s admirer &#8211; age up to 45 &#8211; high tenor<\/li>\n<li>Peterman, Choufleuri\u2019s manservant &#8211; age immaterial &#8211; tenor or high baritone<\/li>\n<li>Balandard, a henpecked husband &#8211; middle aged plus &#8211; baritone<\/li>\n<li>Madame Balandard, a domineering wife &#8211; middle aged plus &#8211; mezzo soprano<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Performances will be Nov 11-14 2015, at Theatre Petit Varia, rue Gray, with tech rehearsal on Nov 8 and dress rehearsal on Nov 10.
